A 3D game where you play as a spear-wielding hunter that fights large monsters and demons.

I made added some zoom and tension (camera shake) effects and an animation for aiming the spear. I think this makes it more satisfying to throw the spear and promotes taking your time with shots. It's also nice because I figured out how to change the animations, which I get from Mixamo, within Unity instead of Blender, which I know nothing about.

I made it so that each of the bear's attacks have custom colliders. Each of those colliders has a certain timing and a specific direction that it makes the player tumble when it actually connects with the player. I did this so that the attacks look a bit more realistic and accurate when they hit the player.

I also made the bear's AI so that when you are unreachable, it paces around frantically until it can reach you or it gives up and flees

Here is a game prototype I have been working on for a bit. It's largely inspired by Monster Hunter and a little bit by Rain World. I got all of these assets for free from either the Unity asset store or Mixamo.
