learning python scripting in maya! (sound on, I explain it)

hey guys! For y'all FSU students I just saw you yesterday, but to the rest of DevLUP, I have been DeAd!! oooOOOOooo! 👻  I'm now not dead!

So, to start off the year, here's the website I showed at the last GBM, now finally up on the right domain at https://alectremblay.xyz ! I wrote a little blog on how I made it - for those of you who saw my old site, this new one is up on github pages and has more stuff on it! I'm aiming to write a new blog every week, sometimes about projects, sometimes just about random stuff; I think my first proper one will be about the movie bullet train.

Additionally, for those of you who have seen or followed my unreal engine liquid in a bottle shader, I have a work in progress of a breakdown of it I've written of it at: https://alectremblay.xyz/landshark .

since I left yall on such a somber note with the last update, even though I have more to do in total for the project still (last day is today, I'm sending out my apps tomorrow! 😬 😟🧑‍🎨 🍕 ) here's what I'm going with for foam:

here's the last week in this suggestive video of a beer taking a shower (idk why the particle emitter isn't moving with the rest of the blueprint):

made it so the liquid/foam levels are finally controller in the blueprint, made the foam look less shit, other stuff I forgot
