I finished! I fixed a bug with the ghost projectiles and added a score system and built the project! Soon I'm going to upload it to itch and do a little reflection write up. It sucks and its bad but its finished wahoo yippee! Now its time to get better in Godot to push Party Pirates over the finish line, and then teach myself unreal

I added a ghost enemy with ranged attacks, and finished making the attack for the cyclops enemy, now i just need to make the cyclops turn to face the player. (I have no idea where the ghost sprite in th the center came from, what it is, or how to get rid of it)

its slightly wonky, but I got the enemy dashing towards the player before making the attack, I just need to make the timing line up a bit more

the cyclops' animation transition between winding up and attacking is working now! next up is getting them to dash towards the player to attack, the same method I used to initially get them to move is doing nothing in this instance so. lol

I've got my big cyclops enemy chasing the player and starting it's windup animation, I'm having trouble using the animation events to set the trigger to transition into the attack animation and state for some reason 🤷‍♂️

I started making the basic code for a second enemy, thr cyclops, and polished the dodge a bit more so you can't change direction mid dodge, there's a slight cooldown, and the timing is slightly more satisfying

I fixed a bug where the dodge direction was changing mid dash and making it squiggly and weird, and fixed the player being able to dofge multiple times at once

I added a little dodge/dash thing, its fucked up and buggy but it kinda works?
