This game takes inspiration from infinite-craft and general word-chaining games for a puzzle game.

Attribute Puzzle Game

For today I did a bit more work on my game design document for my project, as well as initialized my project with vite and got started with creating the initial area based on the figma I created yesterday. It took a bit of time with getting the design stuff done and starting up the project so I didn't get much done development wise, but tomorrow Ill have a good starting point to get more work done. Here's also a small update to the figma that I made today as well to help myself visualize how it might look for when a game starts. Basically the game will function by trying to reach the goal attribute by chaining cards that contain an attribute from the previous card (so you'd have to start with something related to "hot" and then from there continue chaining until a card somehow gets to "handheld" as an attribute. That's at least my rough idea for it, it's definately possible that there will be more iterations on that design but so far it's what I'm thinking of doing.

So I ended up getting a more concrete idea of the game I want to make; It's going to be sort of a mix between those word-chaining type games and also the infinite-craft game. I'm sure there's an actual name for these types of games, but in case you dont know the infinite-craft game is basically where you can continually combine various things to create new things and repeat over and over. Basically my game will involve that, but also have a puzzle element to it where the player has to figure out what should be combined in order to reach the end goal from the start goal based on a given number of elements/things. I'm thinking of other possible actions/abilities that also can be used to help the player get to the end, but it's still WIP on that design.

 Additionally I decided to get some rough designing for how the UI might look,** so here's how that looks** (created in figma). The cards are using placeholder icons and the design of the card itself will likely change quite a bit over time as I iterate, however the attributes that each card has will play a role in my idea for the game as I figure it all out. Hopefully my explanation made a little bit of sense as well lol, it's still in the design phases so thats also why my explanation is probably a bit all over the place on the specifics.
